DNR Engineering and Surveying is a land surveying and civil engineering firm based in Olathe, Kansas. We started it because the jobs we like best, the single-site, the small plat, the drainage complaint nobody wants, are the jobs large firms price themselves out of and then service badly.

Who you will work with

Ryan Tyler Haupt

Principal Engineer and Land Surveyor

Ryan holds both the professional engineer and professional land surveyor licenses in Missouri, which is less common than it sounds and is the reason we can carry a boundary and the design that depends on it under one contract. He seals the firm's engineering and survey work.

Dane Nguyen

Co-Founder · Grading, Drainage and Floodplain

Dane leads the firm's site development work: grading and earthwork, storm sewer and detention design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, no-rise certifications and CLOMR submittals. He also runs scheduling and client work, so he is the person most clients deal with day to day. If you called and got a quote back the same afternoon, that was him.
